Percolated Design securely stores information that you’ve given us about your website, hosting and associated accounts. We use this information to design and build your website, set up requested services and provide technical support to you when requested. If you would like a copy of the information we keep on your company or you would like us to delete all or part of it we are happy to comply. Please contact us using the details below and we can arrange this for you.
We will send you emails or call you when we need to contact you about any services you have with us or when we need to send you important information. If you would like us not to contact you by phone or email please let us know and we will respect your wishes.
We will never share any information you have given us unless you have specifically asked us to set up accounts or services with third parties on your behalf.
What types of data we collect and how we use it?
We have a contact form that appears on most of our website pages. If you complete this form we will only use your data to reply to your enquiry. These details are only stored long enough to allow us to reply to your enquiry and then they are deleted. If we have an email conversation with you as a result of your enquiry then we will add your email address to our email address book in order to continue to communicate with you. We will not add your details to a mailing list or share them with any third parties.
As part of the registration process for our mailing list, we collect personal information. We use that information for a couple of reasons: to tell you about stuff you’ve asked us to tell you about; to contact you if we need to obtain or provide additional information; to check our records are right and to check every now and then that you’re happy and satisfied. We don’t rent or trade email lists with other organisations and businesses.
We use MailChimp, to deliver our newsletter. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help us monitor and improve our e-newsletter. For more information, please see MailChimp’s privacy notice. You can unsubscribe at any time of the day or night by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of our emails or by emailing us.
Other Information & Data
When we work together to build you a website, design brochures, adverts, labels, newsletters and more, we may need information from you in order to complete this work. This data will not be collected via our website. We will discuss in person what information we need and exactly how we will use it at the time. We will also answer any questions you may have about how this data will be used and stored. We will only use your information to complete work that you have agreed to in advance and we will always keep you informed. An example of this might be setting up a Mailchimp account for you and linking it to your website so that you can build a mailing list and send out newsletters to your customers. Another example might be transferring a domain name or setting up a new hosting account, to do this we might need your login details for your domain or hosting provider. We will always keep your data safe and we will only ever use it as instructed by you. You are welcome to ask us at any point, what data we have, how we keep it and we will be happy to delete it on request.
